So i just joined this month, and Fungus has been so kind as to be my mentor and teach me the ways.

My Uni Student email has been just clogged with more scams than real mail so i finally decided to get a little payback.

This was the original:

I sincerely write to seek your co-operation and trust to enable me
carry out a very urgent / great business Opportunity in my Bank.
I know of funds belonging to Mr Adam Stewart who deals in gold and
other minerals within the West African Sub-Region but unfortunately
died along with his wife in the 6th of May 2007 Air Crash,through a
Kenyan-bound jet that crashed in Duola, Cameroun, killing the whole
114 on board,according to official reports.

He left in his fixed-deposit account the total sum of $3.8M USD(Three
Million Eight Hundred Thousand Dollars).Since the management of the
bank got the information of his death we have been expecting his
relation/friend to come because his next of kin being his wife also
died along with him and since his death none of his relation/friend
has come forward for the claim of the funds totaling ($3.8M USD).
The banking and financial law of our bank stipulate that if such fund
remained unclaimed after a period of time,it will then be lost to the
State as unclaimed deposit and after forfeited to Ghana Government.

I seek your consent to present you as the next of kin of the deceased
since you are a foreigner,so that the proceeds of this account being
valued at $3.8M USD can be paid to you and we can then share it.

Be assured that the funds is not drug-related and I guarantee that
this transaction will be done under legitimate and legal arrangement
that will protect you from any breach of the law.I desire your trust.

I will direct you on how to apply to Adansi Rural Bank Ghana Limited and
effect repatriation of the fund left behind by Mr Adam Stewart before they
get confiscated by the bank, or be taken and shared by the bank officials
The accredited law firm of the bank will represent you in the above claim

He took picture of the funds the day he brought it to the bank and the
picture is still in my office drawer, the picture is attached in my mail.

Please keep confidential all matters as regards this transaction to
avoid scandal,I dont want anybody to black-mail us after everything.

The bank has been expecting a relation or an associate of late Adam
Stewart to come forward and claim the funds so the bank will not waste
time in releasing the funds to your nominated bank account, its a
simple bank process .

I dont want you to tell anybody about this matter,I want us to claim
the funds and enjoy it with rest of mind, people may see changes in
you after we claim the fund and if they ask you just tell them you did
a contract or you won a lottery.

I have also included the deposit slip of late Adam Stewart showing the
amount and the date it was deposited, I took it from his file in the
records room.
I have also attached my international passport, I may also need you to
send me your valid identity. Please dont betray my trust.


I will take 70% and you will take 30%. I want you to agree on this
ratio before we continue.

That brings me to the present. Today i get this tasty treat in my inbox when i get home from work titled "Law Firm":

Dear Ivana,

All I want is your guarantee that the funds will be safe in your hands and that my 70% will certainly come to me intact, that is my major concern but I am convinced that its very safe in your care,the process wont exceed two weeks. I will give you an account to transfer my own share after everything has been concluded

This is what I want you to do, you will email the law firm representing the bank telling them that you are an associate or relation of late Adam Stewart and that you want to claim the funds he deposited in Adansi Rural Bank Ghana and that you have the Deposit Slip showing the amount and the date it was deposited, and that you want to claim the funds. Please attach the Deposit Slip I sent to you when writing the law firm ok

Make sure you forward to me every reply from the law firm so that I tell you what to do next, I am a staff of the bank and I will be underground to work everything out ok.

So on the advice of Fungus i wrote a complaint to Bravehost late last night about the "Law Firm" website telling them is was a fraud page and that my associates and I knew that it was a 419 scam, and as of today it has been suspended. I can't believe they listened to me.
Now i have to tell Charles that i can't access the page he sent me. I wonder what his response will be to this??

I tried to go to the law firm website and contact them, but it said that the website was suspended. Now what do we do? I thought we had to go through the lawyers to make this happen. Please contact me and let me know what to do. I really need my share, i have already made some rather large purchases on my credit cards that i have no other way of paying back. I am so worried now.

This is the exact same site, just with a red background instead of a gray one. same "lawyers" and and official graphics. Again i reported it to Bravehost, lets see if the remove it too.

Nicely done
If played carefully, you can get a lot of sites this way. My suggestion? After this one gets removed, complain again and you will probably get a new website from the scammer again. Thank him for the quick response and the new url, as if you could view the website normally and then report it. A few messages later you can casually mention you tried to go to his site again, but that it didn't work. What was the correct url again?

Just woke up and checked and Bravehost suspended to second site haha Charles. I sent him this:

I tried to log onto the second site that you sent me but it was the same problem, it keeps saying that the website is suspended. What is going on here Charles? Why do you keep giving me websites for law firms that do not exist? I told you previously that I really need my share, I made some large purchases based on the fact I was getting money. Please Charles, I trust you, but i feel so lost now.

I'd say you really don't trust a lawyer whose websites turn out to be suspended. Completely trust the initial guy but keep the suspicion on the lawyer. Perhaps ask 'Charles' if he is sure this company is legit. This can drive really annoy a lad as the lawyer is often the same lad.

Keep up the nice work Sitekilling can really hurt a lad.

I guess he got tired of dealing with a host that would shut down his websites. i have looked all over trying to contact the host of this site, but i don't see anything. Maybe someone else could try shutting this one down.

I don't know if we really can trust a lawyer whose websites turn out to be suspended 2 times in a row, I have a bad feeling about them. I know that we both really want to get this going ASAP, but are you sure this company is legitimate?

Hi Eire! Nice to meet you, and nice to see you are already doing your part in hurting the lads about anywhere you can! If you ever need a site shut down, just post and magic will be done!

My suggestion is to question the lads choice for this laywer, and play along. If he has more willing victims, he is likely to drop you, in favour of them.

What you could also do, is keep baiting this lad with 5 or 10 email addy's at the same time, all complaining about the site, with just a little different style of writing. He is likely to go nuts!

So i got a great excuse from my buddy Charles today:

The website was not suspended, l was told the law firm decided to employ a new hosting company why because the former hosting company has increased hosting fee.
Please email the law firm as soon as possible and forward to me their reply

I really want to screw with him about the 3rd site being down, but i have to leave tomorrow night and won't be back until Tuesday. I was going to send him another letter complaining about the 3rd site and tell him i have to go on a business trip. Any ideas of what else i should say?
