Thanks Bandit. Yeah, I have an ancient cordless phone which has a jack for a little pin, the cover has a little pic of the typical secretary type one ear headband with a mic. Can I assume that will record both sides of the conversation? Audacity is my friend in my RL hobbies so no prob there. The bulk of my calls seem to come in at 3am (noon Lad-time) so I am simulringed to my disposable cell phone. I'm usually fast asleep at 3pm when the lads are calling people with regular schedules in North America. Funny, I just had to explain to a lad that there are different time zones as if he was unaware, the world is round. He didn't appear to be as amused as I was.

Yep - they will get both sides of the call. Also, they can work with a cell, as long as it has a headset jack.
